Choose the length of massage you'd like to give and the receiver can choose between remedial massage, sports massage, swedish massage and more.
This massage aims to repair soft tissue that has become damaged, restricted, or knotted due to the wear and tear of daily life. It is ideal for treating and preventing aches and pains, improving recovery of injury, and assisting in rehabilitation.
It can also be used to locate the source of pain that might be radiating into other areas of the body, such as tension in the neck that can cause headaches.
Remedial massage is suitable for but not limited to:
Sports massage focuses on the improvement of bodily functions to enhance overall performance and is designed to help athletes before and after they compete or train. It can help to increase mobility and strength in muscles and joints, reducing the risk of injuries.
It can also be used after an injury has occurred to rehabilitate the damaged areas and return them to working properly and pain free.
This type of massage is effective at:
This is one of the most popular forms of massage therapy. It is designed to reinvigorate and reenergise the body through gentle and relaxing bodywork techniques.
The muscles are softly kneaded through long, flowing strokes, increasing oxygen supply and blood flow to alleviate pain and tension. It improves circulation, calms the nervous system, and promotes a sense of deep relaxation.
These sessions are designed to treat the whole person, not just one body part. A thorough assessment of the body is performed to determine the cause of the issue and how it’s affecting your daily life.
Through the testing of muscle, range of motion, orthopaedic testing, and neurological examinations (where appropriate), you will gain a better understanding of what your body is doing and how to accurately address the issues.

Susan treats both the spine and the peripherals: shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles. Susan uses many different modalities in her treatments: mobilisations, myofascial soft tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, and chiropractic adjusting. If you are afraid or dislike the chiropractic ‘crack’ it is not a problem.
Susan is happy to work without adjusting if you prefer. In some cases, she will rule out chiropractic adjusting, even if you want it, in the case that she believes it is unsafe to do so. She has been described as one of the most thorough chiropractors that many patients have seen, as she believes that without a complete history and examination she can’t treat effectively.
She is often the choice of chiropractor for those who would prefer an osteopath – but can’t find one – or those with a dislike of being adjusted.
Her repeat appointments are half an hour long (rather than the usual 15 minutes of most chiropractors). This longer time is required so that she can include the soft tissue and rehabilitation exercises and other modalities into the treatment.
Susan has been working as a chiropractor since 2016. She trained in chiropractic after first having a career in information technology which gives her a more mature perspective on the demands of trying to achieve a work/life balance.
